Meet The TeamCommittee Jaimie TaitChairJamie has been involved in various committees and organisations in a voluntary capacity including the Chair of Ayr North Sports Hub. Jamie is a Service Lead (or Senior Manager) within the local authority and has been employed for over 20 years with the organisation. Having the responsibility for Community Engagement, Community Safety, Sport and Physical Activity, Employability and Community Learning and Development he brings a wealth of skill and experience in his role as trustee. Jamie is also the lead volunteer coach with our 2014s team. Blair MonaghanVice ChairBlair is a Car Sales Executive with a prestigious Scottish Company and is Vie Chair of the Charity. He brings a wealth of experience in terms of the operation of football and community work. He was born and brought up in the Ayr North community. He is a natural problem solver, has a great ability to introduce and develop new ideas and has considerable contacts which have been key to the Charity’s development. Chris McLaughlinSecretaryChristopher is project manager for a National company and is Secretary of the Charity. He has been involved in community football administration and management for almost 20 years. He also serves as Child protection officer and is local PVG officer and is a member of the West of Scotland League Committee. Ed HannaTreasurerEd has been involved in coaching grassroots football for 12 years as well as being an active community worker when living in his native Belfast. He was a director at his local community run leisure centre where they were awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service. As well as coaching the 2006 team Ed is involved in the media presentation within the club using his 30 years experience as a graphic designer. John DaltonTrusteeJohn is a Financial Inclusion Delivery Manager within a local authority. This involves managing a team to assist those in need to maximise their income, deal with debts and other challenges that they may face, while supporting people from low income households to progress their employability journey. He also works with other partner agencies to provide a holistic service to tackle poverty. Involved with Whitletts Victoria FC for the past decade, John is a founding member of Vics in the Community. He has been involved in administration, volunteer management, media, fundraising locally for Senior and Junior football for more than 30 years Stuart AndersonTrusteeStuart works for North Ayrshire Council in service delivery and joined as trustee recently. He runs our 10 year old section which under his management has grown rapidly and brings a wealth of coaching, administration and fundraising experience to the Charity. Andrew DownieFunding Officer & Administration ManagerAndrew has worked in the Ayr North community for almost 30 years. An experienced mid-level manager with a strong background in fundraising, administration, event and general management. Well known in the local community with a wide range of connections at all levels. Marna FergusonMental Health and well-being co-ordinatorMarna is an accomplished mental health professional, and is committed to helping develop our community support programme. She has already tackled issues such as suicide prevention, bereavement loss, isolation, setting up peer to peer support along with many others. Craig MacMorlandCoach CoordinatorCraig has over 15 years of experience coaching, developing football clubs and coach education in the UK and USA. UEFA B licence coach, a masters degree in performance coaching and BSc (Hons) in sport and exercise science. Craig has worked with grassroots all the way to professional clubs and has been working to help develop and extend our community support programme linked closely with our Mental Health support programme.
